Summer is here and with that more people will be getting out and about in their Motorhomes & Caravans, or looking to purchase one. The thousands of people through the recent show at Mystery Creek was testament to the fact there’s still a lot of interest in the RV lifestyle.
When it comes to RV insurance, Star Camper Care leads the pack with our policy features and benefits, so here’s a quick guide to help you recommend our product to your client:
The whole unit!
Our policy covers the complete vehicle including the fixtures and fittings. We include all the important components like the fridge and stove, and anything that’s a permanent fixture, inside and out, including awnings.
Personal Contents cover
As an added benefit, included in all of our policies is $3,000 loose contents cover as standard. This provides cover for items your client takes out of their home and puts in the van when travelling; clothes, cameras, phones, etc. This cover can be increased if needed, and E-bikes can be written under our new Motorcycle policy.
Roadside Assistance
All Star Insurance CamperCare policies include our market leading Roadside Assistance membership. It provides towage to the nearest place of safety to a maximum of $1,000 per callout, with three callouts per year. That means across the year, our membership has the highest combined level of roadside services available in New Zealand. It applies to the vehicle, not the driver and is available 24/7.
Additional Benefits
We’ve included a bunch of helpful benefits you won’t find on many other RV policies including; caravan park cancellation fees; emergency accommodation & travel; food spoilage; hidden gradual damage cover; incorrect fuelling; pet death or injury.
