Wealthpoint Conference

Wealthpoint is a network of 150 financial advisers owned as a co-operative of 50 businesses throughout New Zealand. In April they held their annual conference at Northland’s Copthorne Hotel in Waitangi. Wealthpoint advisers place a wide range of domestic and commercial insurance, so the sales team from Star Insurance Specialists went along to talk about our range of products.

The conference took the form of sessions with guest presenters and then an expo of providers at which advisers could move around and chat while enjoying morning tea and lunches.

It was a good chance for the Star team to engage with a large group of advisers in the one place, allowing us to showcase our products and systems. Wealthpoint advisers place insurance with Star via our online platform & we take care of all the quoting, documentation and premium collection.

Most popular on the Star stand, apart from our great sales team, was our display of one of the original Britten V1000 motorcycles raced by Andrew Stroud and valued at over $1m. It was a common photo opportunity for many of the guests!
