Motofest is back

Star Insurance Specialists is once again a principal sponsor of the Mike Pero Motofest event, being held at Hampton Downs in March. Last year over 50 brokers and their families came and enjoyed the motorbike racing and our hospitality over the weekend event. We’re excited to be doing it again this year!

Star Insurance will be sponsoring the Legends Garage. Many motorcycle riding legends and the bikes they are riding will be publicly accessible throughout the weekend. They will also do demos twice a day over the Motofest weekend. Public will also have access to pit lane for the daily warm up session where you will be able to inhale the familiar fumes of the bikes from the past.

In the afternoon the legends join the Superbikes for the daily grid walk – a crowd favourite. Look for Star Insurance outside garages 17, 18, 19 and 20 then make your way up to our lounge for a drink and bite to eat with some of the Star staff.

Kiwi Moto GP star Simon Crafar has been confirmed as the headline act for the 2019 event alongside Australian Moto GP and World Superbikes identity Chris Vermeulen.
