Hampton Downs Motofest 2018

Star Insurance was a principal sponsor at the Mike Pero Motofest held at Hampton Downs over the first weekend in March. The event was a showcase of all things motorbikes and is the biggest event of its kind in NZ. Over two days in the Waikato attendees were able to see plenty of action both on and off the track, including a round of the national championship. Also in the line up was the Legends Demonstration Sessions, Shoei Classic Racing, & the Kawasaki Public Trail Ride.

Additionally there were plenty of static bike displays and many suppliers to the industry showcasing their products.

Star Insurance’s involvement was two fold. Firstly we set up a caravan in the market place area where we were able to talk about our insurance products, provide quotes to clients and allow them to update any policy details. Secondly we decided this event would make a great day out for some of our key supporters, so over 100 brokers, dealers and insurance industry friends brought their families along to share in the action. In between all the displays and racing action guests were entertained with food and drinks in our corporate lounge.

This was the first time the Motofest event has been held but the huge success and positive feedback from those who attended means it has a good future!
