It’s a better road with Camper Care

Star Insurance Specialists launched the Camper Care product back in 2010 and since then we’ve grown to become the leading supplier of Recreational Vehicle insurance in New Zealand. Here are some friendly points about the Camper Care product which might help sell it to your client.

All RV’s

If you’re looking to insure a motorhome, caravan, fifth wheeler, converted bus, campervan, horse truck or pop-top then we can help. The caravan tow vehicle is also no problem for us. Our participation at the major motorhome shows, along with our support of some caravanning clubs and national advertising means we’ve a recognised brand among RV owners.

Inside & Outside

We provide cover for all the RV’s fixtures and fittings (providing it’s included in the sum insured). So your TV, mattress, solar panels, etc are all included. We’ll even throw in an additional $3,000 cover for personal contents (subject to item limits in the policy wording) & this can be increased on request.

Agreed Value

All our policies are Agreed Value up to 5 years (for new vans brought from a dealer), or 3 years (for second-hand vans purchased from a dealer). Even after 3 years we can re-agree the value for a further 3 years, and then for another three years after that and so on.

Journey On

A 24/7 Nationwide breakdown service is included with all Camper Care policies. There will always be someone from our New Zealand based customer service team at the end of the phone and ready to help. The client just needs to quote their rego and say they are a Camper Care customer.

We do it ourselves

We handle all queries, underwriting, processing and authorise all claims in-house. Our assessors are in regular contact with repairers and RV dealers around the country so there’re experts when it comes to fast and efficient claims resolution.

Something a bit different.

We can tailor a policy to suit your client’s unique needs. We’ll look at RV’s which are permanently lived in or used for business purposes (subject to our underwriting criteria). Storage and restoration covers are also available for that guy who’s brought an old bus with the long term intention of kitting it out.
