Star Insure Holiday Season Competition (2025) Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter is Star Insurance Limited trading as Star Insure (“Star Insure”), 2 Reg Savory Place, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013 (“the Promoter”).

2. Anyone who completes and submits the online entry form via the Holiday Season Competition email, will go into the draw to win one (1) of the five (5) $100 Prezzy^® Cards (“the Promotion”).

3. The Promotion commences at 12.01 am on 5 December 2025 (NZST) and closes at 11.59 pm (NZST) on 31 December 2025 (“the Promotional Period”).

4. To enter the Promotion, you must:
   a. be a New Zealand resident aged eighteen (18) years or over and who is residing in New Zealand at the time of the Promotion;
   b. complete and submit the online entry form via the Holiday Season Competition email (“Participant”).

5. By entering this Promotion, the Participant confirms full acceptance of these terms and conditions, including all eligibility requirements.

6. Employees, officers and contractors of Star Insure (and their immediate families) or any company or agency associated with this Promotion, are not eligible to enter this Promotion.

7. There are five (5) prizes each consisting of one (1) $100 Prezzy^® Card (“Prize”) to be won for this Promotion. The competition is not sponsored or endorsed by Prezzy^® Card and Epay New Zealand Limited.

8. The Prize is not transferable, not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Terms and conditions apply to the use of the Prezzy^® Card and can be found at www.prezzycard.co.nz/terms-and-conditions

9. At the end of the Promotional Period, the Promoter will randomly select five (5) Prize Winners (“Prize Winner”) from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period (“Prize Draw”). The Prize Draw will take place between 5 and 9 January 2026, at the offices of the Promoter, 2 Reg Savory Place, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Prize Winners will be notified by phone and email within two (2) business days of the Prize Draw, using the contact information listed on the online entry form. The Prize must be claimed by the Prize Winner responding to the email within five (5) business days of the email send date. The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the Prize Winner. If the Prize Winner does not respond to the email within the stipulated time frame, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and re-draw a new Prize Winner within ten (10) business days of the Prize Draw. The re-draw will be done in the same manner and on the same terms and conditions as the original Prize Draw. If a Prize Winner cannot be found after three (3) redraws, the Promoter will withdraw the Prize.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any Participants who interfere with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, amend or suspend the Promotion or these terms and conditions at any time and for any reason before the end of the Promotion and without prior notification. The Promoter shall not be liable to any Participants or Prize Winners for any loss or damage incurred as a result.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to use the Prize Winner’s name, region and photograph on the Promoter’s website www.starinsure.co.nz, social media channels and for promotional and publicity purposes.

14. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical issues, lost or delayed transmissions, computer or network failure or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of the Promotion.

15. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees, contractors and any company associated with this Promotion, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect, or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or the Prize.

16. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, limit or modify any statutory rights any person may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

17. Each Participant accepts and agrees that the Promoter may collect, use and disclose their personal information to Star Insure’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting this Promotion. All personal information will be managed in accordance with our privacy policy (starinsure.co.nz/privacy-policy) and the Privacy Act 2020.
