At NZ Roadside Assistance, we have been a proud partner of Star Insurance for nearly a decade, along with providing hundreds of New Zealand companies and over three hundred thousand individuals with reliable, efficient roadside assistance, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We're proud to be 100% New Zealand owned and operated, working alongside the country's top Nationwide roadside service providers and automotive repairers. We have over 2000 different types of providers across the country catering to mechanical breakdown, towing, glazier repairs, locksmiths and accommodation among many others. Our providers all adhere to “professional industry conduct practices” such as health and safety, applicable licences and relevant insurances.
Our automotive expertise, state-of-the-art CRM systems and specialised customer service, ensures you're getting the best roadside support with an average response time of 30-40 minutes, dependent on location. When you call our call centre for roadside assistance we will ask for your vehicle's registration / number plate in order to identify you. We then get some details of the problem you are experiencing and then make arrangements for a suitable provider to attend. After these arrangements are made we will call you back and provide a timeframe for the assistance. A further call is made upon completion of every Roadside Assistance case, to ensure a high level of service provision has been delivered each time.
We can provide accident assistance (costs at customers responsibility), long haul towing, map assistance, technical advice and message relay and other concierge services.
NZRA is committed to delivering the highest standard of performance – enhancing our Journey On brand by ensuring that the best interests of the customer is at heart each and every time we have the opportunity to provide our services. Star Insurance include Journey On roadside assistance as an automatic benefit with the Camper Care and Star Motorbike policies, it’s available to purchase as an additional benefit on the motor vehicles policies, and can also be sold as a stand-alone product.
